ANKARA - The United States lifted on Friday the warning issued on March 19, 2003 for U.S. citizens to avoid travel to Turkey.
Press Office of U.S. Embassy in Ankara said in a statement on Friday that the warning was lifted together with the decision which foresaw that embassy's staff in Turkey could leave the country when they wanted.
The statement said that there was a recovery in security generally and added that travel warnings would also be lifted in the U.S. diplomatic mission representatives.
