SARAJEVO - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc, who is currently in Sarajevo, met on Tuesday with Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidential Council Chairman Borislav Paravac.
Following the meeting, Arinc told reporters that Bosnia-Herzegovina had an administration which was represented by common administration of Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian people and recalled that Paravac was serving as chairman of Presidential Council.
''Paravac said at the meeting that they expect many things from Turkey. He also said that the two countries are together in political issues and wanted Turkish businessmen to make investment in his country. Paravac said that they will make necessary arrangements for it. During the meeting, Paravac stated that they need experiences and knowledge of Turkey not only on food and textile sectors but also on construction of highways and industrial establishments,'' Arinc noted.
Arinc quoted Paravac as saying that many things were expected from Turkey on re-building process of Iraq.
Stating that Paravac wanted to further improve political, economic, social and cultural relations with Turkey, Arinc said, ''I hope that we will establish very good relations with this country. Bosnia-Herzegovina also wants this.''
After his meeting with Paravac, Arinc received Bosnia-Herzegovina Council of Ministers Chairman Adnan Terzic.
Sources quoted Terzic as saying that Turkey was a powerful country and thanked Turkey for its support and added that Turkey should increase its investments in Bosnia-Herzegovina during his meeting with Arinc.
