SARAJEVO - Parliament Speaker Bulent Arýnc opened Turkish Cultural Centre in Sarajevo on Monday night.
Arýnc, who is currently in Sarajevo as the official guest of Bosnian House of Representatives Speaker Sefik Caferovic, visited Gazi Husrev Bey Library before the official opening of the Centre.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Caferovic said that the Centre was the best symbol of the past and modernization.
Parliament Speaker Arýnc said in his part that they hoped the relations between Turkey and Bosnia would further improve.
After the opening, Arýnc met with members of Turkish-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Businessmen Union.
Businessmen gave information to Arýnc about their activities in Bosnia and they asked the ratification of the agreement that prevented double taxation between the two countries.
Arýnc later attended the dinner hosted by Caferovic in his honour.
Arýnc will meet with Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidential Council Chairman Borislav Paravac and Council members on Tuesday. After receiving Chairman of the Bosnian Council of Ministers Adnan Terzic, he will proceed to Mostar and return to Sarajevo the same evening.
