ISTANBUL - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan left for London on Sunday to promote some institutions which took place in privatization program.
Making a statement at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport prior to his departure, Unakitan said that they would meet with various companies in London to promote institutions which took place in privatization program.
Noting that he would promote institutions to clients, Unakitan said, ''our program is to make active marketing and promote institutions within the scope of privatization by going some markets and places where our clients are intensive. We aim to find the best price and sell in best conditions. I hope we will take good results.''
When asked which institutions they would promote, Unakitan said, ''Petkim was called for tender. Tender procedure is continuing. Tenderers were determined. Its selling will be concluded after a while. We have Tupras, Tekel, National Lottery Agency and other small institutions. We have Telekom and THY. We will explain the ones which they are interested in. It will be a very intensive program.''
