ISTANBUL - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan returned to Turkey on Saturday wrapping up his official visit to Russia.
Speaking at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Unakitan said his visit was beneficial for solution of some problems between the two countries and to improve relations in economy.
Unakitan said during his meeting with Russian Deputy Prime Minister, problems related with tax were solved, and that he conveyed some wishes of Turkey to the Russian deputy prime minister.
Unakitan said during his meetings he called on trade volume between the two countries to be increased, and wanted tourism from Russia to Turkey to be improved. He said they also conveyed some demands regarded with natural gas.
Unakitan said he also had some meetings with businessmen acting in Russia.
