2 shells land near fence between Gaza, Israel

JERUSALEM (AA) – Two shells fired from the Gaza Strip landed near a security fence between the Palestinian territory and Israel.

Palestinian militants fired the two shells in the direction of the fence, Israel channel 10 reported.

There was no comment from Palestinian group Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip.

Israel and Palestinian factions signed a cease-fire agreement on August 26 following a 51-day Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip, which left more than 2,060 Palestinians dead and more than 11,000 others injured.
