ANKARA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will pay a visit to Colombia, Cuba and Mexico starting Feb. 10, according to a statement issued Thursday by the presidency's press office.

Erdogan's talks during the visits will focus on regional and international developments, bilateral relations and signing cooperation agreements in different fields.

Erdogan's visit to the region is the first for a Turkish president since 1995, the statement added.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto had visited Turkey in 2013 and Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos Calderon also visited Turkey in 2011.
