No 'security incident' on Israel-Lebanon border: Sources

JERUSALEM (AA) – Israeli army sources have denied reports about any "security incident" on border with Lebanon.

"There was no indication of any security incident on border with Lebanon," the sources were quoted as saying by Maarif newspaper.

Media reports earlier said that an explosion had been heard in northern Israel.

The army sources, however, gave no details about the reported explosion.

Tension has been high on border between Israel and Lebanon after the killing of two Israeli soldiers in an attack by Shiite Hezbollah group on a military convoy in Israel-occupied Shebaa Farms on Wednesday.
