Turkey ready to share its experience with Mongolia

- Turkey is ready to share its experience with Mongolian brothers, Turkish parliament speaker said

ULAN BATOR, Mongolia (AA) - Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek said that Turkey was ready to share its development experience and gains in different fields with Mongolia, in his official visit to Mongolia on Tuesday.

"Turkey is ready to share its experience and gains in different fields with our Mongolian brothers," Cicek said at a press conference with his counterpart Mongolian Parliament Speaker Zandaakhuu Enkhbold in Ulan Bator, Mongolia's capital. This visit is considered significant for Turkey and Mongolia to strengthen economic, historical and cultural ties.

"Some cooperation issues with Turkey on mass housing construction, energy, and tourism are on our agenda", said Enkhbold while Cicek stressed the importance of both economic and political cooperation between Turkey and Mongolia.

Cicek met also with Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj and Prime Minister Norovyn Altankhuyag as part of his official talks. 

Turkey and Mongolia signed a deal in April 2013 which was approved by the Turkish cabinet in February 2014 to allow for mutual and partial visa exemption for each other’s citizens.
