T.H.Y. Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Kazakh Capital

A Turkish Airlines (THY) plane en route from Istanbul to Beijing made an emergency landing at Astana Airport in Kazakhstan on Saturday.

The Airbus A-330 plane named "Konya", with 241 passengers on board, had to make an emergency landing at the Kazakh airport as cabin crew found an unclaimed Playstation Portable (PSP) device on a passenger seat and suspected it might be a bomb.

Upon landing, the plane was evacuated and all the luggages on the aircraft were checked. No trace of bomb or explosives was found in the search.

After a 4-hour stay at the Astana Airport, the THY plane proceeded to the Chinese capital of Beijing.
