ANKARA - Natural gas flow from Iran to Turkey halted due to the blast that occurred in the Iranian part of the Turkey-Iran natural gas pipeline last night, said executives of Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (Botas).
Speaking to the A.A correspondent, Botas executives said that they expect the pipeline to be repaired within three or four days.
They stated that there is no energy shortage due to this incident. Noting that Turkey is purchasing 20-22 million cubic meters of gas from Iran a day, Botas executives said that Turkey will meet this shortage from the Blue Stream natural gas pipeline till the Turkey-Iran natural gas pipeline is repaired.
